On 11-15-2023 Wagoner County Deputy A. Hull responded to the 8500 Block of South 273rd East Avenue in reference to a burglary.  Upon arrival, it was discovered that the house had just been sold and homeowners were in the middle of getting all of their property. The previous homeowner had made arrangements with an auction service to sell the remaining items at the house on Tuesday the 21st.

It is believed the suspect or suspects came onto the property and stole a flatbed trailer, Kubota 40hp tractor with box blade and front-end loader.  The suspects then gained entry into a detached garage and stole a Hobart welder, large red toolbox, and a Hustler 60inch zero turn lawnmower.

On 11/16/23, Deputy Hull had gained information throughout the investigation that led him to a residence in the far northern part of Wagoner County. While at the residence deputies located the stolen Hustler zero turn lawnmower in an outdoor metal storage shed. No arrests were made at the scene.

Later in the day, Deputy Hull gained more information of where the tractor and trailer may be located. Deputy Hull along with Rogers County Deputies responded to an address in the far southern part of Rogers County.  Deputies were able to positively identify a Kubota 40hp tractor that was sitting in the back yard by a metal out building, as being the one that had been stolen out of Wagoner County. Inside the metal building, Deputies located the flatbed trailer that had been stolen out of Wagoner County. No arrests have been made at this time, although the investigation is still ongoing.

The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this recovery of stolen items.
