The Criminal Investigation Division of the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office is responsible for conducting criminal investigations within Wagoner County.
The Investigation Division has four full time investigators, responsible for the investigation of major crimes, assisting patrol deputies with investigations, responding to crime scenes, collection of evidence, and many other tasks.
The criminal investigators within the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division has complete Forensic Digital Lab training with the United States Secret Service. Thanks to this partnership, The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office now has the training and equipment needed to collect and analyze digital evidence from nearly any kind of device. Cell phones and computers, laptops, tablets etc. or even damaged electronic devices. If there is a microchip in it, there is a good chance we can still collect that evidence. This advancement will not only help the citizens of Wagoner County, as well as partnering with other surrounding agencies when requested.
