On 07-18-2024 at 0939 hours Wagoner County Deputy A. Hull initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the City of Okay near East 75th Street North and North 43rd Street East for Affixing or Improper Tags or Decal to a Motor Vehicle. It was discovered that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Michael L. R. Warren of Okay, Oklahoma, held active warrants for his arrest out of Wagoner County.
Wagoner County K-9 Lt. M. Baldwin and his partner Ice responded to Deputy Hull’s location to assist. Deputies also discovered the driver was in possession of 21 grams of a white crystal-like substance, presumed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The driver was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Wagoner County Detention Center and booked into same.
Michael L. R. Warren was charged with Trafficking in C.D.S (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Pay All Taxes Due to State, and the outstanding warrant. The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office and our Law Enforcement Partners will continue to aggressively pursue any person that is bringing harmful narcotics into the Wagoner County Communities.
